Table that is called ‘Flap on the wand’ in Dutch, which literally translates as ‘ leaf on the wall’. It was made in Hindeloopen in the year 1746.

The table kan be folded against the wand, so it doesn’t take any room. The underside of the top is often visible, that’s why it is painted and decorated more than the top. This table is painted with birds, floral motifs and a biblical depiction on a red background. The table is also decorated with carved decorations in the shape of human heads. The table is dated in paint ‘1746’.
